Pay Just $20 To Adopt Your New Summer Adventure Companion

The Arizona Humane Society is once again partnering with the BISSELL Pet Foundation in support of its exciting Empty the Shelters event! From July 17-31, all pets at both our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale location can be adopted for just $20.

AHS continues to care for an unprecedented number of the Valley’s sick, injured and abused pets. With kitten season persisting, dangerous summer temperatures rising and the effects of Fourth of July fireworks reeling, over 1,000 sick, injured and abused animals have found their way to us for a second chance.

Flynn is one of those pets. The 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier has been in AHS’ care since March of this year after being rescued as a stray, and we really don’t know why it’s taken so long for this sweet, energetic boy to find a home. The same goes for Oscar, the cuddliest 2-year-old brown and white tabby cat you’ll ever meet, who began his time with AHS as a kitten found in a box and was later returned two years after being adopted.

BISSELL’s Empty the Shelters Event will give you the chance to take home not only Flynn or Oscar but also any of our other adoptable pets for just $20, a small price to pay for a best friend.
