Valentine’s Day Gift Match Will Double All Donations up to $10K

Written by: Arizona Humane Society
Beginning Valentine's Day and lasting through February 19, all donations will be matched up to $10K to make sweetheart season extra special for homeless pets.

Valentine’s Day is here, and twice the love is in the air thanks to a longtime supporter of the Arizona Humane Society, Bryan Albue! He has generously offered to match all donations up to $10,000 made between February 14-19, so don’t miss this opportunity to spread love and save lives by making your donation twice as sweet!

By transforming $50 into $100, $100 into $200 or $500 into $1,000, you’ll help fund the crucial programs that allow us to care for homeless pets, like Pippen.

newborn kittens outside At only a few weeks old, Pippen was orphaned and found by a Good Samaritan along with his littermates. He was brought to the Arizona Humane Society and immediately admitted into our Bottle Baby ICU to begin gaining the weight he so desperately needed. He had a long way to go, even spending some time in a loving Foster Hero’s home where he could continue growing in a quiet, peaceful environment. After a little over a month, Pippen went up for adoption and charmed his way into the hearts of his forever family.

newborn kittens outside Jade’s life was also hanging in the balance before entering AHS’ care. The tiny Chihuahua was nearly a year old when she was surrendered to an emergency clinic who reached out to AHS, seeking help and justice for Jade. Once in our care, our trauma hospital veterinarians decided to amputate her left front leg due to the severity of an existing fracture. Shortly after her procedure, Jade went up for adoption and has beautifully adjusted to life on three legs. She is thriving with her loving family and enjoys the company of her Chihuahua sibling, a fellow AHS adoptee.

By doubling your gift, more pets like Pippen and Jade will be given the second chance they deserve. Thank you for being a Valentine for the Valley’s most vulnerable pets!
