Show Pit Bulls Some Love With $0 Adoptions All October Long

To celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness month, we want to help more pitties find their happy ending. That’s why for the remainder of October, you can adopt any of these wiggly fur babies 1 year and older for $0. Stop by either our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus or our PetSmart Scottsdale (Miller/Camelback) location through October 31 and find the perfect pit bull match for you!

Sometimes, forever can take a couple of tries for a pit bull. That was the case for the beautiful Silverada, a pit bull mix who has a longstanding history with the Arizona Humane Society (AHS). This sweet land seal was originally rescued from a cruelty situation as a puppy all the way back in 2015, and being that she was so young and precious at the time, she was quickly adopted.

Seven years later, however, she sadly found her way back to AHS in December 2022 when her owner could no longer care for her. Being one of our older residents, Silverada had a hard time finding as many interested adopters as she did when she was a puppy. That was until May of this year when she finally found the forever family she deserves! We couldn’t be happier for the sweet Silverada, and hope that all of the pitties in our care get to experience the same outcome.

Event details:

• $0 adoption fees for pit bulls 1 year and older
• Both our South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale (Miller/Camelback) adoption locations
• All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters will also take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food.

$20 Spay/Neuter Surgeries For Pit Bulls All October!

If you already have a pit bull in your life but they have yet to receive their spay or neuter surgeries, we’re keeping the National Pit Bull Awareness celebrations going by offering these procedures for just $20 throughout October! This special deal was made possible by our cherished Circle of Friends and will take place at our Sunnyslope Campus’ Marge Wright Veterinary Clinic.
