Students Get First-Hand Look at Second Chance Action

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

second-chance-hospitalStudents from Liberty High School in Peoria got a behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced, lifesaving action that goes on in AHS’ Second Chance Animal Hospital™ trauma center earlier this week.

The students, who are studying medical sciences, observed our compassionate veterinarians and medical team as they cared for ill and injured homeless dogs and cats. Students also toured AHS’ campus, observed surgeries and spent time with our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and behavior team.

Learn more about the lifesaving work our EAMTs and Second Chance Animal Hospital medical team do every day to help homeless pets in our community.
