Puppy Thrown from Car Finds New Hope
Squirt, a rambunctious Weimaraner-mix puppy, had a rough start in life. When he was just eight months old, Squirt was thrown from the window of a car and left for dead. Fortunately, witnesses who saw the incident sprang into action and rushed him to the Arizona Humane Society’s Second Chance Animal Hospital.
Our veterinary technicians quickly examined Squirt and treated his many wounds. During further inspection, it was also revealed that Squirt had been subjected to continued abuse prior to the incident, as someone had attempted to dock his tail using a rubber band. The damage was so severe, that Squirt’s tail needed to be amputated.
Thanks to the care provided by the community, our dedicated staff and volunteers, Squirt has made a full recovery! Squirt now has a new forever home of his own with a family in Phoenix.
