3TV: Pets as Gifts

News Highlights:

• Here at AHS, we believe that you know your loved ones better than we do, and we do not prohibit adoptions for others as gifts for Christmas or any other reason.
• We will always encourage adoption over “shopping” for pets and believe that those who come to us to find a new furry friend are doing so with the best of intentions.
• If the new pet owner needs any help or resources for the pet, we are here to help! If he or she cannot keep the gifted pet for any reason, we will honor our 100% adoption guarantee and take the steps to accept the pet back to our shelter.
