New Laser Therapy: Fast-Healing Technology For Pets Like Brody

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

When injured pets come to the Arizona Humane Society for treatment, they always receive an amazing standard of care from our medical staff. However, many animals must still go through a lengthy recovery before they can be adopted.

BrodyThis is all changing thanks to the addition of a new laser device that was recently added at Second Chance Animal Hospital™. The high-tech device is designed to speed up the healing process using light energy. Through laser therapy, we have seen wounds heal and pets recover from surgery faster than ever before. It can even be used as a drug-free tool in pain management for pets with broken bones.

Brody, an energetic Rottweiler, was one of the first pets to benefit from this laser treatment. Left outside for an extended period of time, Brody was covered in severe sunburns. His hair had fallen out and much of his back had become a cracked, open wound. Thanks to our new laser therapy, he made a quick recovery and is now available for adoption.
