New Kitten Nursery Offers Hope To Precious Pets

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

New Kitten NurseryMeet Milo and Charlie. They’re two of the spunkiest residents of our new kitten nursery.

The nursery, which opened last week at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, is currently filled with 121 of our tiniest feline friends just like Milo and Charlie who aren’t quite ready to go up for adoption. These little guys need the love and care of our compassionate staff and volunteers to ensure they get off to a healthy start, are properly socialized and gain the weight they need to eventually find their forever homes.

The nursery is one of the many innovate initiatives we’ll be rolling out this summer as we make a commitment to save the lives of thousands of more animals. With kitten season in full swing, the nursery offers an immediate and impactful opportunity to save more lives now. That’s why it was so important to us to implement the nursery as quickly as possible, but we still need your help to ensure we can save lives.

holiday_donate_button-redBetween staffing, medical care, vaccinations, toys, litter, food, and other supplies, it will cost more than $70,000 a year to run the nursery and save the lives of these precious kittens. With your support, we can give Milo a nourishing meal, make sure Charlie receives his critical vaccinations and save between 400-800 kittens every six months.

Milo, Charlie and all of their kitty friends send you loving purrs and thank you for your continued support.
