National Volunteer Week: Double Spotlight Kathy and Suzanne

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

Two Paws up to Kathy and Suzanne!

Kathy Colletti (left) has been volunteering with the Arizona Humane Society for the past three years and has completed over 900 volunteer hours! Kathy has volunteered primarily on our Petique at Biltmore Fashion Park, but she is also a wonderful addition to the volunteer team in the Kitten Nursery and ICU. Volunteering means a lot to Kathy because,“The more I can help animals that may have come from bad situations, the happier it makes me. We only get a short amount of time with these animals here at the Petique, so I spoil them.” Thank you, Kathy, for your service and for all the time you spend spoiling the kiddos!

Suzanne Hill (right) has been volunteering with AHS since 2010 and has completed over 4,300 onsite and foster hours! Suzanne has focused primarily on volunteering at the Petique at Biltmore Fashion Park as well, but she is also a wonderful addition to the Foster Hero team as she loves helping care for kittens in her home before they are able to go to the adoption floor. When asked about her experience as an AHS volunteer, Suzanne states,“It’s fantastic, I love interacting with the customers, but most of all, I love my interaction with all of the dogs, cats, and critters here at the Petique. It has kept me coming back for six years.” Thank you, Suzanne, for your service and support as a volunteer and a foster parent!
