Hot Asphalt Can Pose Dangerous Risks to Your Pet’s Paws

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

dog-paw-1Did you know asphalt temperatures can reach more than 160 degrees in the summer? That’s way too hot for your pet’s paws, as those extreme temperatures can cause serious burns and blisters.

You should always walk your pet in the cooler morning or evening hours during the summer and avoid the heat of the day.

You can also help protect your dog’s feet by outfitting their paws with booties which can be purchased through our Petique Online Store or Petique retail locations.
