Help Us Show Wrigley Love During His Half-Birthday Party
On March 13, Jessica Aldermann’s world came crashing down. Her beloved pit bull, Wrigley, just 5 years old, was diagnosed with an inoperable form of cancer and given just weeks to live. But instead of focusing on what little time Wrigley, an AHS alum, had left, Jessica decided to make every day count.
Jessica created a bucket list for Wrigley, full of fun doggie to-dos to help fill Wrigley’s remaining days with happiness. Jessica and Wrigley have already completed several of their bucket list tasks, including passing the Canine Good Citizen test and buying a new bowtie, and the Arizona Humane Society wants to make sure we can help Wrigley cross a few more items off his list.
We’ll be throwing Wrigley his early half-birthday party on April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion and you and your dog are invited to celebrate the life of this amazing pup. We’re also going to help Wrigley scratch three other items off his list, as Wrigley will get to try new “hoo-man” food, eat a doggie ice cream sundae and raise money for other rescue pitties.
Wrigley would love it if you brought toys, towels and blankets to donate to his four-legged friends who are waiting for their forever homes at our shelter. You’re also welcome to bring in your own “hoo-man” food. Maybe Wrigley would like a taste.
If you have a bucket list item you might be able to help Wrigley complete, or for more information, contact 602.997.7585 Ext. 1010.
Make donation to help other AHS pets like Wrigley.
