Santa Claws Arrives Early for AHS’ Homeless Pets, Thanks to Day & Night HVAC!
Generous Gift to Benefit AHS’ Hospital Surgery Pets
The Arizona Humane Society’s pets received a cool gift just in time for the holidays!
Day & Night Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing, generously donated two air conditioning units and a maintenance package, valued at more than $13,000, to AHS. In the last two years, Day & Night has donated seven units, including maintenance packages, to AHS which has totaled $66,000, to help keep AHS’ pets warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In addition to Day and Night, this gift was made possible by Goodman Manufacturing, Smiley Crane and D & B Sheet Metal.
The new units were installed at AHS’ Sunnyslope Campus and replace 16-year-old units in AHS’ trauma hospital surgery suite and cat tech room. Seventy percent of the animals that AHS takes in are treated in AHS’ trauma hospital, indicating it was clearly time for a tune up.
“We are very thankful for amazing partners like Day & Night who, time and time again, help keep our Sunnyslope Campus running after more than 60 years in operation which allows us the ability to not skip a beat when it comes to saving lives,” said Dr. Steven Hansen, AHS President and CEO.
“We are proud to continue to help the Valley’s homeless pets through our long-standing partnership with the Arizona Humane Society,” said Jeff Martin, second generation owner of Day & Night. “As a local, family-owned company, Day & Night is passionate about giving back to the community while supporting such a great cause.”
