CBS 5: Six Deceased, Eight Living Dogs Removed From Phoenix Home

News Highlights:

  • AHS’ Animal Cruelty Investigators assisted the Phoenix Police Department on a case in which six deceased dogs and eight surviving dogs were removed from a home.
  • The owner has been charged with 15 counts of animal cruelty.
  • The eight living dogs, two of whom are in critical condition, are all being cared for in AHS’ Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital. In addition to being very sick, they are fearful and nervous. The prognosis for all pets is very guarded at this time.
