Breaking News: AHS Rescues 45 Pets From Phoenix Facility

Written by: Arizona Humane Society

On Wednesday, AHS Assisted the Phoenix Police Department in Seizing 45 Pets from a Facility in Phoenix.

AHS is now caring for 23 dogs and 22 cats whose medical conditions range from suspected ringworm, mange and dental disease for the dogs to upper respiratory infections and ocular discharge in the cats. The pets are under the care of AHS’ medical team while the investigation remains ongoing with the Phoenix Police Department. We will continue to update information here on our blog and Facebook page as it becomes available. Many individuals have reached out asking how they can help. If you would like to make a gift to help care for these pets and other sick, injured and abused animals in our care, our friends at VCA Animal Hospitals are currently matching all donations up to $30,000. Thank you for your continued support of homeless pets in our community.
