AHS Adoptable Pup Takes to Gridiron in Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl XII
The Arizona Humane Society is excited to announce that Arizona will be represented for the first time in this year’s Animal Planet Puppy Bowl XII as 84 puppies from 44 different rescues and shelters across the country take to the gridiron, and fill the rosters of #TeamRuff and #TeamFluff, in television’s cutest sporting event.
Roxy, a Chihuahua/French Bulldog mix, is one of 49 puppies in this year’s PEDIGREE® Starting Lineup and will represent #TeamRuff on the big day. Roxy will also be joined by her best friend and AHS alumni kitten, Oscar. Their story of courage and friendship will be one of six stories featured in a special Pup Close and Personal segment. Roxy and Oscar were both just days old when they came to the Arizona Humane Society with their siblings as strays. Their friendship blossomed in their AHS foster hero home where they were both bottle fed in order to survive.
In addition to Puppy Bowl’s special featured segments, the much-anticipated television event will feature the popular KITTY HALF-TIME SHOW, locker room cams, special assistant ref, Stanley the Skunk, and silkie chicken cheerleaders. This year, die-hard super fans can also get closer to the action than ever before with the introduction of PUPPY BOWL VIRTUAL REALITY which offers a full 360 degree experience.
