26,000 Homeless Animals Saved!
Fix.Adopt.Save three-year campaign results!
Earlier this month, the Alliance for Companion Animals, joined by Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, announced Fix.Adopt.Save’s remarkable three-year campaign results. In the last three years, the Alliance has collaborated to decrease the euthanasia of homeless pets by 71 percent while also saving the lives of an additional 26,000 homeless animals!!
The Arizona Humane Society is extremely proud to be a part of the Alliance for Companion Animals, a group of seven animal welfare groups in Maricopa County, committed to ending pet homelessness in our state. By working together, we are making a huge impact in our state. However, our work is not done and we will continue to need the community’s support as we strive to save the lives of even more animals through increased adoptions, increased spay/neuter services and foster homes while also pushing the boundaries of caring for homeless animals with medical and behavioral needs.
