Melissa Rupoli-Katz, Board Member

Community Volunteer

Melissa believes that we are the voice for animals and it is our responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being. She is passionate about all animal welfare issues, especially those relating to advocating and educating for spay/neuter as well as anti-animal cruelty efforts. In addition to her work with AHS, she has also volunteered for the past four years with Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue. Melissa spends much of her free time with her husband, four children and two rescue dogs, a 6-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix named Zues and a 3-year-old Lab/Pit Bull mix named Jax. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga, playing the piano and spending time with her animal-loving friends.
