Jo Taulbee-Flittie, Board Member
Caring for others, including animals, is a philosophy that Jo has held since her childhood, when she lived on a small ranch in Texas full of cows, horses, pigs and chickens. Jo supports AHS because she strongly believes that true pet responsibility includes advances in medical treatment, rescue shelters, innovation and new theories on pet placement. Jo’s philanthropic support also extends to hospitals, battered women, alternative medicine research and the arts for the underserved. Jo spent 42 years as a self-employed, businesswoman focusing on commercial real estate development and home design. Since retirement, she has focused on professional photography, traveling to exotic places with an eye on capturing unique and exotic animals on film. Jo has two rescue dogs, Charles and Molly, who she loves dearly.
