The Arizona Humane Society has made progress in the last five years to save our community’s most vulnerable animals, reduce needless euthanasia and keep pets in loving homes. We cannot stop now. The need will rise with the growth of the Phoenix-metropolitan area. The Arizona Humane Society must continue aggressive spay/neuter initiatives and connect pet owners in need with resources, while focusing on those animals others leave behind: the sick, injured and abused; those still, sadly, deemed “untreatable” by shelters around the country.
