Reading Fur Fun
April 17 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
Read to Our Dogs. They Love It!
Is your child a passionate animal lover but not quite old enough to volunteer? Reading Fur Fun is a special reading program that gives children the opportunity to improve their reading skills by enriching the lives of shelter dogs! Children ages 8-11 can sign up to read to our dog friends at our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion for just $10. This helps students practice reading and teaches important socialization skills to our dogs awaiting adoption. Your child can even wear their favorite storybook character costume!
Each program will allow five participants, who can be accompanied by one adult guardian each. Adult presence is not required and kids can be picked up following the program. No additional guests will be permitted.
