If you have been considering adopting a new furry friend, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Beginning today and lasting through Sunday, August 11, you can adopt any of the animals in our care for $0!
We desperately need our community’s help as we continue to navigate overcapacity challenges. Currently, 370 animals, including dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, are available for adoption across our campuses, with more arriving each day.
Spay/Neuter Record
This week, with the help of Trusted Paws, we set a spay/neuter record at our new Rob & Melani Walton Papago Campus with nearly 120 surgeries performed in just one day. A spay/neuter surgery is the last stop for pets before they become available on the adoption floor.
To help make space for the more than 1,500 pets currently receiving care in-shelter and in Foster Hero homes, we’re encouraging anyone who may be interested in taking home a new companion to consider adopting this weekend.

- All Arizona Humane Society adoption locations
- All pets are spayed or neutered and vaccinated, all dogs and cats are microchipped, and adopters will take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food
