Summer Fund Drive: All Donations up to $25K Matched July 11-15

As the summer heat intensifies, our work at the Arizona Humane Society becomes even more critical. This harsh reality is why an anonymous donor has pledged to match all donations up to $25,000 now through July 15, supporting our Summer Fund Drive.

This loyal friend and long-time volunteer knows better than anyone that right now is AHS’ busiest time of year, and we need all the support we can get to protect vulnerable animals in this dangerous heat. Their incredible match means every dollar you give will have double the impact, allowing us to save more lives, like Medusa.

Medusa, a sweet Bull Terrier mix, was trapped in a hot car on a nearly 100-degree day. The temperature inside the vehicle exceeded 140 degrees, which put her at severe risk of dehydration, heat stroke, or worse. The call to rescue her was just one of over 245 calls our Field Team and Pet Resource Center receive daily, alerting us to pets in distress.

Fortunately, thanks to our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and the support of generous donors like you, we were able to rescue Medusa just in time.
