PetSmart National Adoption Week March 6th – 12th

AHS’ PetSmart Scottsdale location opened in March 2018, allowing even more sick, injured and abused pets to find their forever home with an average of 250 adoptions each month! Pets like Squirrel, a three-year-old Chihuahua who was brought to AHS by a Good Samaritan in February of this year after he was found abandoned and tied to a pole in Phoenix. Upon examination in AHS’ trauma hospital, it was found that Squirrel was blind.

After a week of medical observation, Squirrel was found to be otherwise healthy and transported to AHS’ PetSmart Scottsdale location. He quickly found his forever home and now has two pet siblings and is loving life with his new family!

AHS is currently caring for more than 700 pets within its shelters and AHS Foster Hero homes. The adoption special will help clear much needed space for AHS’ Field Operations team to continue to bring in the Valley’s most vulnerable pets – the sick, injured and abused.

From Monday, March 6^th through Sunday, March 12th, all puppies, dogs, kitties, cats, and critters are 50% off with PetSmart’s National Adoption Week. They are ready and waiting for you.
