Name Your Price Adoption Special On Dogs And Puppies

Written by: Arizona Humane Society
Choose Your Adoption Fee for All Dogs and Puppies Through July 3

You can’t put a price on love, but now you can name your price to bring love home!

Now through July 3, when you adopt any dog or puppy, you can name your own price and pay what you’d like to take your new furry friend home. AHS’ South Mountain Campus will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observation of the holiday. AHS’ PetSmart Scottsdale location will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It costs an average of more than $1,200 to care for each pet that comes through our doors, so each “pay what you can” adoption fee will help us continue to save the lives of our community’s most vulnerable pets.

This special comes at a critical time, as we are operating well beyond capacity and running out of open kennels for incoming sick, injured and abused pets. We’ve got nearly 200 four-legged friends waiting to be adopted, and that doesn’t include the several hundred more animals receiving critical care in AHS’ trauma hospital and Foster Hero homes. As the entire nation grapples with a country-wide capacity crisis, keeping kennels open and available to pets with nowhere else to go is paramount. Take Austin for example, the sweetest 4-year-old American Bulldog mix who has been patiently waiting for his new family while in and out of AHS’ care for nearly an entire year.
