Big Dogs Need Love Too: All Dogs 50 Pounds and Over $0

For a limited time, all large dogs weighing 50 pounds or more will be $0 to adopt. By opening your homes to these big-hearted and big-bodied companions, you’re not only giving them the love and care they deserve but also helping us alleviate our capacity strains and make room for more animals in need.

Big dogs face the longest length of stay out of all the pets in our care. While their average visit lasts about 17 days, it isn’t uncommon for some of these gentle giants to remain in our care for months, patiently waiting to meet their forever family. Take Brutus (pictured) for example. This playful 4-year-old Dutch Shepherd pup has been with us since February when his previous owner sadly passed. Now, he couldn’t be more ready to find his new home.
