The Arizona Humane Society currently has over 1,000 pets in our care due to an increase of intakes, including multiple large-scale cases with long-term medical care needs and an ongoing kitten season. In an effort to open much-needed kennel space to continue caring for more sick, injured, and abused pets, AHS is waiving fees for all pets 7 months and older now through Sunday, October 30th.
The adoption special will help clear much-needed space so AHS can continue to be a safety net for the Valley’s most vulnerable pets. Adopting a pet from AHS not only gives a pet in need the loving home it deserves, it allows AHS Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and Cruelty Investigators to continue bringing in even more sick, injured and abused pets with nowhere else to turn like the recent rescue of 139 rabbits from hoarding conditions.
Both Arizona Humane Society adoption locations will be taking part in this special, and all pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. You’ll also receive a bag of Hill’s Science Diet food and a free follow-up veterinary exam with VCA Animal Hospitals.
