Stock Transfer Instructions

Donors may choose to make a gift to the Arizona Humane Society by directly donating appreciated securities including stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Compared to gifts of cash or gifts made from the after-tax proceeds of a sale of securities, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction. We are grateful for these donations.

To encourage a smooth occurrence of stock transfers, please communicate with our contacts at our financial advisory firm, Clear Perspective Advisors. Their contact information is listed below.  They can work with your financial institution or financial professional to facilitate the most seamless transition.

Also, please notify Nancy Mitchell, nmitchell@azhumane.org, our Senior Manager of Major & Campaign Gifts, on or before the day you initiate the transfer the following information, so we may record and acknowledge your gift accurately:

Note: The gift will be valued on the day the stock enters the Arizona Humane Society account.
