- For the second year in a row, Chase, a Crisis Response Canine for the Scottsdale Police Department, collected donations for the sick, injured and abused pets of AHS in honor of his third birthday!
- Chase friends and supporters across the Valley donated much-needed donations for the more than 600 pets currently in AHS’ care, including dog and cat toys, wet dog and cat food, peanut butter, puppy pads, treats, kitty litter and more. These gifts will benefit AHS’ homeless pets currently receiving treatment in AHS’ animal trauma hospital, in foster care or waiting for their forever homes.
- Chase works for the Scottsdale Police Department as a Crisis Response Canine, in the Police Crisis Intervention Services Unit. This team responds to emergencies and provides acute behavioral health services for victims and witnesses of crime. Chase responds to homicides, suicides, domestic violence, death-related calls and more, serving as a positive distraction and bridge of communication for people who may feel isolated due to experiencing a traumatic situation.
