FOX 10: AHS Rescue Ride Along with an Animal Cruelty Investigator

News Highlights:

• FOX 10 joined AHS Animal Cruelty Investigator on a ride along on May 13, 2019.
• AHS’ Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and Animal Cruelty Investigators respond to nearly more than 12,000 animal rescues and cruelty investigations each year. Last year, 7,481 cruelty investigations were performed.
• The most common animal cruelty investigations are for abandonment, welfare check and no water. Calls nearly double in the summer months, and one third of those calls in the summer are related to the extreme heat.
