Take Me Home Tuesdays: J.J. and Stew

adopt a catAbandoned in the desert when he was just a kitten, J.J. has spent much of his life surviving and it was a battle that he came close to losing before he was rescued and brought to AHS.

Now the one-eyed Russian Blue kitty has made a full recovery and is awaiting a new home and forever friend. J.J is a bundle of love and the 5-month-old and an absolute charmer who loves to purr in your arms or on your lap. He will even sleep in bed with you. He likes playing and cuddling with other cats and his outgoing and friendly personality will blend into just about any household. For more information about J.J. call 602-997-7585 x2045 and ask for animal ID number A451189 or visit www.azhumane.org

stewStew is part Bloodhound, part Pointer and the 11-month-old boasts a droopy face, handsome spots and an effervescent and carefree personality. Being part hound dog, Stew has a tremendous nose that locks onto any good smelling scent and he sticks his nose into everything- even when it’s impolite to do so. Very slow to mature, Stew is still a puppy at heart and has a brisk outlook on life. He is NOT a lazy dog and requires plenty of space and a yard to which he can romp and ramble. He would be an excellent companion for someone who seeks a hiking or jogging buddy. Stew is an absolute love bug (and a little bit goofy) and he loves to be the center of attention. He is good with older kids and dogs but believe it or not this 67-pound dog is afraid of felines.

Stew is available at the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x1045 and ask for animal ID number A457414
