Former Volunteer Makes Huge Thrift Donation

Thrift Donation

A clothing donation to save lives

Todd Gilson spent years volunteering at AHS’ Sunnyslope facility. So when it came time to close his uniform store, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his leftover stock.

Gilson, who recently shut down his PCA Uniforms, Inc. (DBA Gilson Uniforms) retail location after 40 years in business, donated close to $30,000 of merchandise to AHS’ new Camelback Thrift Store. Contents included racks, displays and thousands of different new garments, including medical scrubs, chefs uniforms and shoes.

“We have a particular fondness for AHS and animals,” Gilson said. “That’s our big emphasis – helping out the animals.”

Thank you Todd for your generous donation that will help save so many lives!
