Dog Training: Reactive Rover Foundation
November 2 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
This 3-week-class is designed to give you tools and techniques to get your dog focused on you rather than barking, pulling or lunging at other dogs. We will be working in a distraction-free environment to focus on getting the behaviors we want in our dogs. In order to help dogs succeed, our first step is to build the behaviors we want without other dogs around before taking it to the road.
We will learn:
- Loose leash walking
- Focus and attention techniques
- Settle techniques
This is a prerequisite class to Advanced Reactive Rover. In the advanced class, we will build upon the skills and techniques we learned in the foundation class and begin working around other dogs.
This class is not appropriate for dogs who only exhibit aggression toward other dogs while off-leash, or who exhibit aggression toward people. All family members are encouraged to attend.
