Saying Goodbye

Knowing when to let your pet go is always a difficult decision. Our compassionate veterinary staff is here to support you when euthanasia is the most humane choice for a pet’s quality of life.

We offer two locations where you can say goodbye: Our Margaret McAllister Brock Veterinary Clinic at our South Mountain Campus, and our Animal Assistance Department at our Papago Park Campus. These locations offer different experiences due to medical regulations.

What to Expect

Margaret McAllister Brock Veterinary Clinic (South Mountain Campus)

At our Margaret McAllister Brock Veterinary Clinic at our South Mountain Campus, we have two options for end of life services.

  1. End of Life Services: You can stay in the exam room while our veterinary staff administers a sedative to ease your pet into a peaceful, painless sleep. Once you’ve said goodbye and left the room, our staff will lovingly help them transition on.
  2. Drop-Off  End of Life Services: For those who don’t wish to watch their pet be sedated. After you’ve said goodbye, you’ll arrive for your appointment and deliver your pet to our staff who will lovingly comfort and sedate them to ease their passing.
Animal Assistance Department (Papago Park Campus)

Drop-Off End of Life Services: Our Animal Assistance staff at our Papago Park Campus offer an alternative way to say goodbye for those who don’t wish to watch their pet be sedated. After you arrive for your appointment and say goodbye, you’ll deliver your pet to our staff who will lovingly comfort them to ease their passing.
