A fun-filled day of pawsome activities, games, and animal friends that are sure to start your New Year off on the right hoof! Young animal lovers will horse-play around with dogs, horses, and furry friends of all sizes while learning about the basics of working with, interacting, and providing enrichment for animals! Through exciting obstacles courses, relay races, and action-packed demonstrations, kids will discover new ways to keep themselves and their pets active at home! Don’t miss out on this animal fun!

The Arizona Humane Society offers thrilling five hour mini-camp Saturdays with a different theme each time. Campers will enjoy animal interactions and exciting hands-on activities!

Summer Camps 2018
AHS offers a whole lineup of summer animal camps for kids interested in learning more about animals and animal careers. Summer animal camps teach kids how to train and care for animals, be responsible pet guardians, align their choices with their values and make our community a safer place for all animals. Campers will have hands-on learning opportunities with a variety of animals. Partial camp funding provided by the Arizona Community Foundation.

Junior Camp Counselors
Love Animals, Kids & Leadership?
The Junior Camp Counselor Program (JCC) is a volunteer youth development program aimed to provide leadership, educational, and responsibility-based life skill development for teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17. Under the supervision of Education Instructors, Junior Camp Counselors will interact with campers, assist with curriculum activities and serve as leaders in camp spirit and motivation.
