Summer Camps 2017

AHS offers a whole lineup of summer animal camps for kids interested in learning more about animals and animal careers. Summer animal camps teach kids how to train and care for animals, be responsible pet guardians, align their choices with their values and make our community a safer place for all animals. Campers will have hands-on learning opportunities with a variety of animals. Partial camp funding provided by the Arizona Community Foundation. Camps fill up quickly. Sign up today!

Junior Camp Counselors

Love Animals, Kids & Leadership?

The Junior Camp Counselor Program (JCC) is a volunteer youth development program aimed to provide leadership, educational, and responsibility-based life skill development for teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17. Under the supervision of Education Instructors, Junior Camp Counselors will interact with campers, assist with curriculum activities and serve as leaders in camp spirit and motivation.
