Just like humans, part of your pet’s health relies on regular vaccinations. For your convenience, here’s a schedule for both dogs and cats.

Canine Vaccine Schedule

Puppies:*

6-8 weeks DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo combination)
9-11weeks    DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo combination)
12-14 weeks DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo combination)
Rabies (1 year)
Bordatella (Kennel cough used for boarding, grooming or dog parks)
15-17 weeks DA2PP ( Distemper/Parvo combination)
Bordatella (Kennel cough used for boarding, grooming or dog parks)

Adult dogs:

If an adult dog has no history of vaccines, he or she would need two doses of DA2PP and bordatella given three weeks apart and a 1-year rabies shot.

Dogs are vaccinated yearly for DA2PP and bordatella. The first rabies vaccine is good for one year and the follow-up rabies vaccines are good for three years in Arizona.

*We also recommended puppies get de-wormed at each puppy visit.

Feline Vaccine Schedule

Kittens:

8-9 weeks FVRCP ( Feline Distemper/Upper Respiratory combo)
11-12 weeks FVRCP ( Feline Distemper/Upper Respiratory combo)

14-15 weeks FVRCP vaccine
FELV vaccine
Rabies vaccine (1 year)

*All cats must be tested for FELV before we can vaccinate for the disease.

Adult cats:

If an adult cat has no history of vaccines, he or she would be two doses of FVRCP and FELV three weeks apart and a 1-year rabies shot.

Cats are vaccinated yearly for FVRCP and FELV. The first rabies vaccine is good for one year and the follow-up rabies vaccines are good for three years in Arizona.
