Be a Party Animal!
Children of all ages are invited and encouraged to share their birthday celebrations with the animals awaiting adoption in our shelter!



Birthday parties are held at our beautiful Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion in a private room with spectacular views of South Mountain. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and we'll happy take care of clean-up for you!

Festivities begin with a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility and later, guests will also be treated to an age-specific Humane Education activity designed to communicate the importance of kindness and compassion toward animals in a fun and memorable way.

We'll talk about being a responsible guardian to our companion animals as we keep both them and ourselves safe. We'll also have an animal-themed craft so that kids will have a take-home and we'll talk about how our party animals are an integral part of changing the future for homeless animals in our community.



What's Included
For birthday parties for children ages 4-16, the following is included*:

- A three hour rental of the private party room for 15 party animal guests, including the Birthday Boy or Girl!
- Tables and chairs, including set up and break down
- Color-coordinated disposable tablecloths, plates, utensils, napkins and cups
- Colorful Paw Print wall and table decorations (wall decorations may be personalized)
- A private tour of the Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion shelter and barn
- An AHS party favor for each attendee
- One age-appropriate Humane Education activity
- One age-appropriate craft designed to increase adoptions!
- Naming of one incoming shelter by the Birthday Boy or Girl
- Interactive visits with our animals
- Humane Heroes Recognition of the Birthday Boy or Girl and/or guests, if applicable (see Service Learning section of Party Animal Birthday Package info packet)
- Personalized, private event signage

Scheduling
We ask that you request your date at least 30 days in advance so that we may accommodate the many requests we receive. Please have several alternative dates and/or times in mind just in case your first choice is not available. All party requests are guaranteed with a $50 non-refundable deposit (cash, check and credit card accepted).

Cost
Party fee for all ages is $200 for 15 guests (including Birthday Boy or Girl). Additional guests (up to 20) can be added for $5 per child. For specific guidelines, requirements and fee structure, download the Party Animal Birthday Package info packet.
