"In the age of the Internet and on-demand programming, being on the air for 50 years is truly an occasion to celebrate," said Guy Collison, executive director of the Arizona Humane Society. "We have a deep gratitude for KTVK-3TV for helping us feature tens of thousands of homeless pets and finding them good homes."

Tune in for the special episode August 1!

To commemorate this achievement, we will air a special episode on August 1 highlighting three of the show’s success stories. Marge Wright, the face of Pets on Parade for most of its 50 years, will also make a special appearance.

And here's where you come in!

We want your story and you may be selected to appear on the show!

If you've adopted through Pets on Parade, in the recent or distant past, we want to hear your pet tale, and see a photo of your beloved pet.

Submissions are now closed. Stay tuned to hear if your story has been selected and be sure to watch the show Saturday August 1.

"Over the past 50 years, we have heard some great stories about how these dogs, cats and critters featured on the show have become such vital parts of their families," said Collison. "It's these stories that have made this show the long-running success it is."

Even if your story isn't selected to appear on the show, you may be featured on our Web site, in an upcoming eTails email newsletter or even in our print newsletter, Paw Prints!
