Tifa is a 3-year-old Pointer Dalmatian mix who came to AHS as part of the New Hope program (animals on the euthanasia list with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control). She has been adopted and returned THREE TIMES NOW for being destructive. Tifa is great on a leash and loves to play, but has anxiety when left alone, so she needs a patient family that can make her the center of their world.

Pumpkin is an extremely loving 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier discovered by CPS and rescued by one of our EAMTs™ in a tiny, cluttered room with nine pups. Not only was she extremely thin, but she also has given birth to more than 59 puppies in her short life. In fact, she was unable to produce enough milk to feed the pups. Now she needs a home where she can be the baby and have her family dote on her.
If you think you are a good fit for Pumpkin, please visit the shelter to meet her. Pumpkin may be best as the only dog in the house, but please bring any dogs and children with you to the shelter to meet her before bringing her home. #A250420

Candy is a 6-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix who has been adopted and returned to us FIVE TIMES because of disagreements with other dogs in the home and new owner allergies. Despite her age, she is a high-energy pooch and needs regular exercise, as well as a home without other dogs. True to her name, she really is a sweetheart and will add the perfect flavor the right home.
