Legacy Circle: A legacy of love

Legacy Circle members are those who have mentioned the Arizona Humane Society in their wills or estate plans. Through the Legacy Circle, we recognize thoughtful persons who ensure the future of our organization...and thousands of animals in need.

 

Some of the ways to honor us include:

 

• Naming us as a beneficiary in a will or living trust
• Making a gift of cash or appreciated securities to establish a charitable gift annuity
• Creating a charitable remainder trust
• Naming us as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account
  

Long live the legacy

We hope you will consider becoming a member of our Legacy Circle. Your name will be listed in our annual report (unless you wish to remain anonymous). Additionally, you will be invited to an annual donor recognition event and eligible to participate in our Continuing Care program, a way to provide lifetime care for your pets if you predecease them.

What happens to your pet after you are gone?

Such uncertainty can weigh heavily on your mind. Our Continuing Care program allows you to rest easy knowing your pets will be cared for and loved.

This is a benefit of our Legacy Circle Program; anyone who mentions us in their wills or estate plans. When a Legacy Circle member passes away, we will guarantee a home for their healthy, adoptable pets.

We're pleased to make this program available to help pet parents plan for their companions’ futures, as Legacy Circle members ensure a healthy financial future for us and the homeless pets in our care.

 

To include us in your will or estate plan, you must specify the following information:

Once your decision is made, please download our Statement of Testamentary Provision. Complete and return to the Arizona Humane Society. This form is NOT binding, but helps us keep proper records and provides some future budgetary insight.
