Our Columbarium is a peaceful final resting place for pets.
Maybe when you first adopted your pet, you didn’t realize just how important he or she’d be in your life. Through the years your pet has become a member of your family. That makes your pet’s death a heartbreaking experience, worsened by the difficult decision of choosing an appropriate resting place.

We’d like to make this time easier by offering interment at our columbarium on the east side of our Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion. Nestled near Phoenix’s scenic South Mountain Nature Preserve, our columbarium provides a beautiful final resting place for cats, dogs of all sizes and larger animals including horses. It also sits next to a peaceful, covered meditation area that provides the chance to reflect on the love and joy pets bring to our lives.

After cremation, your pet’s ashes are placed in a sealed, custom hardwood urn along with toys and small mementos if you wish. Once the urn is interred, we’ll mount a copper etched plaque over the niche, bearing a short memorial message and an appropriate dog or cat emblem. Breed-specific and general emblems
are available.

We also offer services for those who have recently lost their pets, as well as for those who may be in need of euthanasia services for a suffering companion. All services are performed with respect, professionalism and compassion by AHS staff members who understand the pain of saying goodbye to a dear friend.
