November 19, 2009 (PHOENIX) – We boast about the 500 people who visited the Arizona Humane Society’s new Biltmore store, Petique, on its opening day. Or the 100 donors and media who attended the official snipping of the ribbon. Or the $5,373.52 in pet merchandise sold and donations received. But here’s what matters most: Thanks to Westcor’s generous, first-ever, Valley storefront donation, these 18 pets were the first, but not the last to find a forever home by way of Biltmore Fashion Park. The increased visibility at Petique, in the east end one of the state’s finest shopping destinations will ultimately increase AHS rescue animals’ chances of finding a permanent home. You need to visit this spectacular space. Biltmore Fashion Park at 24th Street and Camelback Road has long been heralded as a pet-lover’s paradise, with ample pet-friendly lawns and patios. Petique is open seven days a week and offer animals for adoption and retail merchandise, but is not a drop-off point for unwanted or ill animals. For more information, call Petique at 602.957.3113.
