83 Lives Saved Through Parvo Puppy ICU

You may remember Eva, the little puppy who came to the Arizona Humane Society, critically ill and suffering from parvo. Eva was taken in by one of our amazing foster heroes, Jill Diamond, who helped nurse her back to health and find her a loving home. Jill was so moved by Eva’s story that she set up a GoFundMe campaign, asking for the community’s support in helping the Arizona Humane Society fund a Parvo Puppy ICU.

Thanks to the support of animal lovers like you and a generous matching gift from anonymous donors, Jill was able to raise more than $11,000 to go toward the ICU so we could provide second chances to more pets like Eva. While we continue to plan for our permanent ICU home, we are already saving lives in our temporary ICU.

So far this year, we have given a second chance to 83 dogs who would have been lost to parvo just months ago. Parvo is a year-round problem and we remain committed to giving more second chances than ever before.
